School. That word means so many different things to each one of us. To some of us it means new beginnings or places where we can start over. To others it's a place where we hang out with our friends and have a good time. For others it's a place where they are surrounded by people that are so cruel that people actually dread the days of going to that horrid place, which is called school. I pray that everyday that we go to school, that we consider what each and every person around us is feeling and not be oblivious to those who are in need. We need to make sure that we look at others through Jesus' eyes, because when He saw us He saw all of our flaws and although He was better than us, He still loved us! I know that I have not been as kind as I want to be, but I want to love others, because that's what Jesus wants me to do! If you are a true Christian, but make fun of others and are hateful, are you really showing God's love to others?.. Or do you just call yourselves Christians, but don't walk the walk or talk the talk...
Selah - Good post and very practical. You are very good at speaking to topics that are in everyone's lives everyday. I especially like how you wrap it up with "practice what you preach" - a well-known saying, but so little-lived!
